DATABASICS was founded in 1997.
What is your primary product or service?
We are timesheet and expense reporting software providers, but we're mostly in the business of helping people do business better.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
DATABASICS was founded by CEO Alan Tyson and CTO Marcel Syriani, who saw a gap in the timesheet and expense reporting software arena when they worked as accounting consultants. They developed software that lived in the cloud and could be accessed by any Internet browser, which was revolutionary technology at the time.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Customer service differentiates us from the competition. We've been recognized several times by not only third-party experts, but also by our customers when we go above and beyond to solve their problems.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We have two offices: our headquarters are in Reston, Virginia and our second office is in Montreal, Canada. We do have plans to expand across the Atlantic in the future.
